At Tarot by Chris, we strive to provide excellent service and customer satisfaction. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds are available for our tarot reading services.
2. Refund Eligibility
Full Refunds
You are entitled to a full refund in the following circumstances:
- Booking not approved: If your booking request is not approved by the reader
- Cancellation by us: If we cancel your booking for any reason
- Cancellation by you (24+ hours notice): If you cancel at least 24 hours before your scheduled reading
- Technical issues: If technical problems on our end prevent the reading from taking place
No Refunds
Refunds are NOT available in the following circumstances:
- Late cancellation: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the reading
- No-show: If you fail to attend your scheduled reading
- Dissatisfaction with reading content: Due to the subjective nature of tarot readings
- Technical issues on your end: Connection problems or device issues on the client's side
3. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email us at contact@tarotbychris.uk
- Include your booking reference number
- Provide the reason for your refund request
- Submit your request within 7 days of the scheduled reading date
4. Processing Time
- Refund requests are reviewed within 2 business days
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
- Funds may take additional time to appear in your account depending on your payment provider
5. Partial Services
If a reading is interrupted or cut short due to circumstances within our control, we will offer either:
- A rescheduled session to complete the reading
- A partial refund proportionate to the unused time
6. Consumer Rights
Under UK Consumer Rights Act 2015:
- You have the right to cancel within 14 days of booking (cooling-off period)
- If your reading is scheduled within the 14-day period and you agree to proceed, you waive your cooling-off rights
- Services must be provided with reasonable care and skill
7. Disputes
If you disagree with our refund decision:
- Contact us to discuss your concerns
- We will review your case within 5 business days
- If still unsatisfied, you may pursue dispute resolution through your payment provider
- You retain your rights under consumer protection laws
8. Special Circumstances
We may consider refunds outside our standard policy for exceptional circumstances such as:
- Medical emergencies
- Bereavement
- Other extraordinary situations
These will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
9. Gift Purchases
Refunds for gift purchases will be issued to the original purchaser unless otherwise agreed.
